The City of Mineral Wells is accepting applications for a position on the Mineral Wells Housing Authority Board. This Board is the governing body for the Housing Authority, it oversees the Shady Oak Circle projects and Section 8 Housing.
The Housing Authority is appointed by the City Council, but it is not a department of the City. It is a five member board with two-year terms that expire on January 31. The board meets monthly.

The general election will be to elect a City Councilmember At Large Place 1; City Councilmember At Large Place 2; City Councilmember Ward 2; and City Councilmember Ward 4.
